MY STORY
Abigail Nackash, Owner, Quality & Advice
I’m an expert in management systems with experience working with a broad range of industries and standards. I have a Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a major in chemistry.

My career began in the electroplating industry. As a graduate, I was given a task nobody else seemed to want to figure out – managing the 9001 quality system.
I studied up, and it was then that I started to appreciate what management systems is all about. I also experienced that frustration I know is familiar to a lot of small businesses, figuring out how to apply standards that seem to be written for large companies to our lab of four scientists.
On my quest to experience a wide range of industries, I made my move to the pharmaceutical industry. I worked closely with manufacturing departments in a Quality Assurance role. I learned about LEAN principles and how to address the root cause of issues.
In 2008 I joined NATA, and began my journey into the world of accreditation. With NATA, I audited Inspection Bodies, Construction Laboratories, and Diagnostic Imaging Facilities. I traveled all over metropolitan and rural Australia auditing NATA accredited facilities large and small, across a range of industries.

I have been a NATA accreditation consultant since 2017, and it sure is nice to be in a position to give advice instead of just pointing out deficiencies.
I’d be happy to chat about how NATA accreditation consultants Q&A can help you.
